Summer 2019 was one wild ride! We were itching for some adventure, and what better way to scratch that itch than with a road trip down the California coast? With the wind whipping through our hair and the thrill of the open road ahead, we set off from the vineyards of Napa Valley, headed for the bright lights of Studio City.
Our journey kicked off amidst the rolling hills and lush vineyards of Napa Valley. Being big fans of the movie “Sideways,” we couldn’t resist exploring the very landscapes that inspired Miles and Jack’s wine-fueled antics. With dreams of Pinot Noir swirling in our minds, we hit the road, ready to craft our own story.
Arriving just in time for the 4th of July, we found ourselves caught up in the festive buzz of Napa Valley. Flags waved proudly, and the night sky exploded with bursts of color as fireworks lit up the scene. Surrounded by laughter and good company, we raised our glasses to freedom and the simple pleasures of life.
And what’s a trip to Napa Valley without a little wine tasting? We sampled our way through elegant estates and cozy tasting rooms, each sip bringing us closer to finding our perfect match. And let me tell you, Caymus won our hearts with their luscious wines – it was love at first sip.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we found ourselves reminiscing about the memories we’d made. From lazy afternoons lounging in the vineyards to scenic drives along winding roads, every moment was a treasure to be savored.
None of this would have been possible without the warm hospitality of Visit California. They welcomed us with open arms and showed us the true beauty of the Golden State. And a big shoutout to Corvette for hooking us up with the coolest ride for our journey – cruising down the California coast in style was an adventure in itself.
As we said goodbye to Napa Valley and set our sights on Studio City, we couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement for the adventures that awaited us. Because isn’t that what life’s all about? Embracing the unknown, making memories, and relishing every moment along the way.
